About Meg Rotzel | Rotzel graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and studied abroad with printmaker Veerle Rooms at the Karl de Groote Hogeschool in Antwerp Belgium. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Planjin Museum and the Frans Masereel Center in Belgium. As an artist Rotzel produces public projects, makes clothing that allows people to communicate more clearly, and gives gifts. As a graduate student at Brown University, she does more of the same, whilst reading books. For Mutable Press, she wrote Declaration of Meg.Rotzel is also one of the founders of the Berwick Research Institute, Roxbury, a non- profit artist run organization that provides alternative programming and exhibition space outside the commercial world.
