Frequently Asked Questions

If I am interested in purchasing a piece of artwork, can I pay in installments?
– Yes, buyers can pay in installments 10% of the work must be paid within the first installment.

What percentage of the sale goes to the artist?
– Artist Members CAA has a split of 60% going to artist members, and 40% to the gallery. Associate artists & Student artists, receive a 50% of the sale (info listed on our Join page).

Associate and Student Artists have a split of 50%/50%

How do I pick up my purchased artwork?
– The Cambridge Art Association staff will reach out to the buyers to set up a pick up appointment (at our office and gallery location at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery at 25 Lowell Street, Cambridge MA 02138), or CAA can deliver the purchased work to you.

Can I bring the work home to see if I like it?
– You can bring the work home if you would like to rent the piece. Please contact our sales & rental program manager about renting artwork. Hilary Tait Norod – htnorod@cambridgeart.org

Can I return the artwork once I purchased it?
– All sales are final.
