Framing Our Future

Since our founding in 1944, the Cambridge Art Association (CAA) has played an important role in thousands of artists’ stories. From first exhibits and first sales to networks of lifelong friendships, the CAA has connected generations of the best local and regional artists to other artists, to collectors, to exhibition opportunities, and to the wider arts community.
Today, we need your help to ensure that CAA will be here for future generations of artists and arts supporters. As part of an ongoing celebration of CAA’s 75th year, and in dedication to our future, we have set a fundraising goal of $75,000 to Frame Our Future.

How your investment in CAA will be put to work:
- Exhibits | In a normal year, CAA creates more than 30 opportunities for our members to exhibit and sell their artwork. That’s more opportunities than any other arts organization in the Greater Boston area!
- Educational programs | we continue to build on our successful professional development programs, like Instagram for Artists and our annual Portfolio Reviews, and adding more opportunities to learn how to develop a thriving practice, as well as hands-on intensive workshops.
- Art lending | Over the past year, our Art Rental Program leased more than 120 original artworks by CAA members, returning 50% of all fees to working artists in the community.
- Artist networking | Artists are the bedrock of CAA; our focus remains on creating opportunities for our growing community to connect, learn, and grow together.
