Twenty-two exhibitions a year are planned by the Show Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. Members may attend Exhibition Committee meetings by notifying the office and are encouraged to share their ideas.

How to Join
Please see our membership application page.

Responsibilities
Volunteer time of six hours is required of each member annually.
There are a variety of opportunities to get involved please review our volunteer activities list.

Dues for the current year are $85.00. The CAA dues year follows the academic calendar:

   September-August: $85.00
   after March 15:    $42.50

After June 1st, dues are paid in full—$85 for 14 months—through August of the following year. Student membership, for current BFA and MFA candidates (with valid school ID), is $40. Need-based scholarships for partial and full tuition are available, with a commitment of 12 volunteer hours per year.

Dues must be paid before an artist is eligible for a show or promotion by the sales & rental program. The CAA commission for sale of work shown in our two galleries is 40%.

A nominal jury/hanging fee is charged for most exhibits.

Submitting Work to Shows
Artwork submitted to shows must be presented in a professional manner, ready for hanging. Instant frames, such as u-bank and gallery clips are not acceptable. CAA is not responsible for damage caused by faulty mounting, framing, or wiring. Sculptors must supply clean pedestals. All work submitted to shows, print bin, and sales & rental should be labeled on the back with the artist's name, phone number, medium, size, title, and price/value, including NFS. In all cases, work must be registered in the log book for each exhibition. It is important that all work be submitted and picked up according to the schedule on show information sheets.
