How to Join TODAY as an Associate Member!

Membership Levels & Benefits

Benefits for all members include:

ARTIST | $110 per year

Who is eligible? Continuing CAA Artist Members (juried into the CAA prior to August 1, 2015);
Associate Artists who have been juried into two (2) CAA exhibitions in a 12-month period.

Looking to renew your Artist Member Dues? Because of the juried status of this membership level, please contact the CAA staff for renewal information.

  • Juried exhibits – 3 submissions* per exhibit
  • Non-juried exhibits – 1 submission per exhibit
  • 60% commission on sales in CAA galleries
  • 10% discount on artwork purchases

ASSOCIATE ARTIST | $85 per year | JOIN

Who is eligible?

All artists living and working in New England (MA, ME, NH, VT, CT, RI)

  • Juried exhibits – 1 submission per exhibit*
  • Non-juried exhibits – 1 submission per exhibit
  • 50% commission on sales in CAA galleries
  • Discounts on programs & workshops
  • 10% discount on artwork purchases
  • Participation in Art Rental Program

STUDENT | $50 per year | JOIN

Who is eligible?

Current BFA/MFA candidates at accredited institutions, with student ID; graduates of BFA/MFA programs in the past 5 years, with proof of graduation

Additional benefits include:

  • Waived entry fees for Member exhibits (juried and non-juried)
  • Juried exhibits – 1 submission per exhibit*
  • Non-juried exhibits – 1 submission per exhibit
  • 50% commission on sales in CAA galleries

Responsibilities

  • Volunteer time of six hours is required of each member annually.
  • Dues at the Cambridge Art Association are valid for one full year from the date of joining or renewing.
  • Need-based scholarships for partial and full membership are available, with a commitment of 12 volunteer hours per year.
  • Dues must be paid before an artist is eligible to exhibit in a members’ exhibit.
