April 23 – June 5, 2026
Opening Reception | Thursday, April 23 from 6 – 8pm at the CAA @ Canal Gallery
About Earth Day | The Cambridge Art Association invites New England artists +18 to submit work for an upcoming exhibition centered on hopeful, forward-looking visions of our planet’s future. What do we value most about the Earth? What do we want to protect, restore, and carry forward? In a time of environmental uncertainty, artists play a vital role in imagining and shaping narratives of possibility. This exhibition seeks artwork that reflects a vision of a better, more sustainable future – one rooted in care, resilience, and responsibility.
All mediums are welcome, though we are especially interested in work that not only depicts these values, but embodies them through process and material. Artists are encouraged to incorporate repurposed or reclaimed materials, and sustainable or low-waste practices.
About the Juror

Adriana G. Prat is a scientist, artist, curator, environmental activist, and founder of the i3C (inspiring Change for the Climate Crisis) artists collective. Born in Argentina, her early connection with the natural world influenced Adriana to pursue academic studies in science. However, her lifetime passion for art ultimately inspired Adriana to become a mixed media artist working mostly with repurposed materials and determined to create awareness and action for the environmental crisis through art.
The work of Adriana has been exhibited nationally, mostly in the Boston area, and internationally, in a variety of venues. Of note, her work has been recently exhibited at Hallspace (Solo show), Dorchester MA; Cambridge Art Association (CAA)’s galleries, Cambridge MA; Piano Craft Gallery, Boston MA; Gallery 1832 @ LabCentral, Cambridge MA; Multicultural Arts Center, Cambridge MA; Trask Gallery/National Arts Club, NYC NY; Attleboro Arts Museum, Attleboro MA; Proctor Academy, Andover NH; Glen Eira City Gallery, Melbourne Australia; Universidad Católica Argentina, Buenos Aires Argentina, Craft Central, London UK; SÍM Gallery, Reykjavík Iceland; and is part of the Climate Art Collection e.V., Berlin Germany. Adriana is a juried member of both the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) and the CAA, among other art organizations.
