MFA 2022 Exhibition | Boston University Stone Gallery

The Boston University Art Gallery (BUAG) is located in The Faye G., Jo, and James Stone Gallery, located on the first floor of the College of Fine Arts building at 855 Commonwealth Avenue.

MFA Painting and Sculpture thesis exhibitions will feature several artists including CAA member Emily Manning Mingle.

Gallery 263 is showcasing CAA member Martha Chason-Sokol first solo exhibition in Massachusetts.

In Listening Works, Chason-Sokol displays small and large-scale sculptures, or characters, made from the discarded materials of her life. At the gallery, the characters—each of which the artist considers an archive—are presented in a public environment where they can develop new conversations and relationships.

Edge of A Meadow | Mass Art Auction 2022

CAA member Nedret Andre’s work will be featured in the 2022 Mass Art Auction. The piece is called Edge of a Meadow.

Online bidding for the Silent Auction will remain open on Bidsquare March 21 through Sunday, April 10, 2022 at NOON EST. 


MassArt is hosting a Public Preview period from Monday, March 21 – Thursday, April 7.  Please complete the 2022 Auction Preview Sign-Up Form to sign up for your Public Preview visitor slot and confirm your vaccination status.

Centennial Art Exhibition  | Hebrew College

160 Herrick Road, Newton Center, MA 02459

This special exhibit, which honors Hebrew College’s 100th anniversary, celebrates artistic voices, images, and expressions inspired by Torah, and includes pieces from Hebrew College’s permanent collection as well as contemporary creative expressions on Torah and Jewish identity.

Membership Selection |  National Association of Women Artists

CAA Member Tanya Hayes Lee has been selected for membership in the National Association of Women Artists. Founded in 1889 to create greater opportunity for professional women artists, the association has included such luminaries as Alice Neel, Louise Nevelson, Mary Cassat, and Judy Chicago.
