Registration Policies

Registration Policies

All class and workshop fees are due at the time of registration; space will not be held without payment. Course enrollments are limited and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early, as some classes fill early and others may be cancelled if enrollment is too low. Registrations may be accepted after a class begins if space is available, and with instructor permission.

  • Course Cancellations – if a class or workshop is cancelled due to insufficient registration, all registrants will be notified a least 3 days in advance of the start date of the class or workshop, and will be refunded in full.
  • Course Withdrawal – A full refund, less a $25 registration fee, will be given to registrants who withdraw from a class up to 14 days before a class begins. If cancellation occurs during the two-week period prior to the start of the class, no refunds will be  issued.
  • Weather Cancellations – in the event of inclement weather, CAA may cancel or reschedule a class or workshop. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, all registrants will be notified via email or phone. Cancellations will also be posted on the CAA website, cambridgeart.org.

Online Courses + Events

We ask that you consider our online events in the same way you consider in-person events. All paid online course registrations are for a single attendee. If multiple members of your household or studio plan to attend a paid event, each person must register, and purchase a spot.

If you register for, but cannot attend, an online course, please note: we cannot guarantee the availability of a recording for portions of the course that you might miss.

All other course registration policies apply to online courses.

Discounts

Current Cambridge Art Association members in good standing receive significant discounts on all CAA programs. Please see advertised rates on individual program pages.

Occasionally, Cambridge Art Association will offer discounts or special offers as part of a promotional campaign. These discounts may not overlap. Only one discount is applicable to each enrollment.

Photo/Video/Voice Release:

CAA programs are sometimes videotaped or photographed for publicity in promotional materials – in print or online. Permission to be included in publicity is implied by enrollment. Please contact the office in writing or via email at info@cambridgeart.org if you do not wish to be included in publicity.

Scholarship Assistance:

Limited Scholarships may be available, based on financial need. More information is available in the Scholarship Application. Scholarship assistance is supported by our Irving and Charlotte Rabb Scholarship Fund. Please consider donating to this fund, and making CAA’s programs accessible to all.
