COVID-19 Relief Scholarship

About | In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the challenges faced by artists in Cambridge, we are launching a new scholarship program, separate from our existing Irving & Charlotte Rabb Scholarship Program. This new opportunity is open specifically to visual artists residing in Cambridge, MA. Priority will be given to applicants from traditionally marginalized groups including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), Latinx, Asian and Pacific Islanders, LGBTQIA+, and female-identifying artists. Five (5) scholarships will be awarded, with all benefits listed below.

Application Requirements

  • Applicants must currently reside in Cambridge, MA, and be at least 18 years of age
  • Applicants must have an active visual arts practice, and an interest in participating a community of visual artists
  • This opportunity is open to artists who have not previously been members of the Cambridge Art Association. If you are an existing member, or live outside of Cambridge, we welcome you to apply to our Irving & Charlotte Rabb Scholarship Fund.

Application deadline extended! New deadline: March 10, 2021, at 5pm. Acceptance decisions will be made no later than February 28, 2021; all artists will be contacted via email regarding application decisions no later than March 10, 2021.
