“So, what is this thing called time? Is it really a race, a trip or journey? Well if it’s a journey then it’s an odd journey we’re on. There’s a map, and in fact each of us has one. But they all appear to be somewhat different though in the end, we assumed we were all going to the same place. The “Start here” is murky, and different for each traveler. The “You Are Here” is brightly marked and well known to most of our fellow travelers, but oddly none of our maps have rest stops, no place to pull over, there are no exits and the destination never appears, it is marked, but not easy to read “unknown,” isn’t it? As we collect our thoughts about this trip, all seem to know that the destination is closer today but we don’t seem to know where it is or when we will arrive. Alas about the only thing we think we know is that there is more road behind us than ahead, and of that we’re not certain. Maybe we didn’t need a map after all…”
