Glimmer

Glimmer

May 13 – June 26, 2026

Opening reception |  Thursday, May 14 from 6-8pm at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery & CAA @ University Place

Juried by Jessica Roscio, Director and Curator, Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University

About Glimmer | Glimmer is open to all New England artists 18+ and welcomes work that explores illumination in its many forms. Submissions may engage with literal light and luminosity – shimmer, reflection, radiance – or with metaphorical illumination that speaks to emotional insight – social and political awareness, spiritual presence, or imaginative possibility. Whether subtle or striking, these works invite viewers to pause and notice what shines through.

All visual media will be considered, including 2D, 3D, and video. Artwork will be installed at the CAA’s Kathryn Schultz Gallery (25 Lowell Street) and CAA @ University Place Gallery (124 Mount Auburn Street) in West Cambridge. Artists cannot choose which location their piece will be exhibited.
