What are your earliest memories of being artistic? Drawing and arranging objects as a preschooler.
When did art become a pursuit? Since I was born.
Are you self-taught or formally educated in visual art? Both. Self taught sometimes, especially when young. Then BFA and MFA. Then from other artists.
How did you first become involved with CAA? It might have been while receiving the Artist Toolbox award from Boston’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Maybe in 2007?

In what other ways are you involved in the local art community? When I was an elementary art teacher in public school.
What role do you think the artist plays in society? Art enriches the society. Artists gives the society a lasting mark. Since ancient times – it shows how people lived.
What medium do you currently work in and how did you choose this medium? Screen printing. Had a visiting Artist Grant to Ireland. Where their objective was to make me a screen printer.
What is your creative process? Where are you finding ideas for your art these days? At the MFA Boston, films like “RBG,”radio programs, online, museums, politics.

How do you choose your subject matter? Is there a reoccurring theme that carries throughout your work? My theme is Art About Art. Currently I have used it to focus on Women.
In your opinion, what’s your best/favorite piece you’ve made? Impossible – because I like so many things.
What is one of your artistic goals? Have the MFA buy one of my works.

What living artists are you inspired by? Street artists.
