What are your earliest memories of being artistic? I grew up with fill in coloring books and while I loved shading in the colors, I was always disappointed with the subject matter.
When did art become a pursuit? A couple of years ago, when I realized that my children would soon be leaving homeland I would have time to pursue other interests.
Are you self-taught or formally educated in visual art? I have taken photography courses in the past but would a say I am primarily self taught.

In what other ways are you involved in the local art community? I belong to several museums in the local area and enjoy taking classes at the Griffin Museum of Photography, New England School of Photography and MassArt.
What role do you think the artist plays in society? Artists play a very important role in society.
What medium do you currently work in and how did you choose this medium? I work with photography. I like to tell visual stories.
What is your creative process? Where are you finding ideas for your art these days? My personal life stories give me my ideas.
How do you choose your subject matter? Is there a reoccurring theme that carries throughout your work? I like to photograph things that are familiar to me and add to it. My subject matter is primarily family portraits and still lifes in domestic spaces

In your opinion, what’s your best/favorite piece you’ve made? I am very proud of my current series, Seeing You, Seeing Me
What is one of your artistic goals? To continue in my path but become more edgy with my work.
What’s your favorite place to see art? Any museum
What living artists are you inspired by? So many but some of my favorites are Helen Van Meene, Hendrik Kerstens, Toni Pepe (local artist) and Romina Ressia
Do you own any art by other artists? Yes!!
